I had not quite good experience with globe due to their crew, as written in my previous blog i have suffered so much. I decided to cut off my connection due to the "15 day processing", i signed a paper but i haven't paid the P1890.00 pre termination fee, so i went again to smart bro to apply. I filled-up some papers and paid up P999.00 for the month advance. I asked the employee there how many days should my connection be available she said it would take 2 - 3 days.
When got home i called the globe to double checked if my account is still on going or terminated and the CSR told me that it has already been canceled. The 2nd day come i was patiently waiting for them to install my broadband, no smartbro installer come. Then the 3rd day came, i was outside my house waiting for the smartbro installer to come into my house. I waited until 7pm but they did not come. 4th day came i was still outside waiting for smartbro to come but then again i waited for nothing. I decided to call the CSR ( which i should do in the first place ). I gave my info and account number, and said that he should put the line on hold to verify my account. I waited in about 4 mins until he came back. And he started asking me some questions like, do i pay the smart bro, do i have the receipt. So i asked him what is wrong with my account and he said that it is not paid yet, what?!? i have the receipt here i replied. He tells me that i should go back to the smart center to coordinate my concern.
Morning came, about 10 am i went to smart bro, i told the employee that i my account was not yet paid as said by the CSR so she checked my account and she found out that i wasnt yet paid, but i have te received which proves that i have paid the 999.00. I waited there for almost 2 hrs. Suddenly this employee approach me and saying that "it was manually made by the cashier so in the computer it is not yet updated as paid, but rest assured your account is now activated and i have to wait for 2-3 days again for the installation" I was so mad upon hearing this explanation, I immediatley said that i want to cancel my account, i dont want to hear another excuses again. They cancelled my account but the refund should take 10 days before it will be available.
I have no choice but to wait for the "15 day processing of globe broadband". After cancelling my acccout, I immediately call the globelines operator to reactivate my account if its possible, and luckily it was still possible, then my account became activated again. I asked the globelines if there is any way that could shortened the 15 day processing and they said that it depends on the installer. When i went home i called the globelines CSR and asked the same question i asked before, and she said that she will make a note that my account should be installed as soon as possible.
I will have to wait for another 15 days to install my wireless. In the second day i called the globe again to asked if my account has been processed and they said that it is going to be installed as soon as possible. Then the 3rd day came, My phone rings, an unknown caller, i answered the phone it was from globe they said that they will installed my connection tommorow before lunch " 4th day " I was so surprised, i did not know that it will be that fast. I asked them if thats really sure and they said it was sure because the installer had the equipment. I cant wait till the morning comes, finally my broadband will be installed!!! It was 5 pm ( the same day ) i received a txt, asking if i was availble for installation, Wow!!! it was very fast, I immediately call the installer and said that im available, after 15 mins they came.
I had my globe wireless on now, it was very different from my wired connection but better this than nothing. I thank you globe for your quick respond. More power.
